The camera Ken got me for Christmas, broke. I have nooo clue how, it was in my purse and i don't throw it around like a sack of potatoes, no I treat my electronics nicely...anyhow I took it out last week and the screen was all askew.
Thank goodness Ken bought a 1 year warranty for it at BEST BUY..I'm hoping for an upgrade.
With that said, I must and or well need to get it before Algonquin. Pix of the apartment will have to wait a bit. I'm planning to get it today, if Ken ever wakes the fuck up. Yah yah it's only 10 but that's getting late in the moring for me. NM I stand corrected I think he may be starting to wake up, i heard movement.
We need to get downtown, so I can get my timesheet signed and such, exchange my camera and maybe stop by MEC (Mountail Equipment Co-OP) look at pack towels for camping, I refuse to bring a towel from home. a) to bulky , b) i'm not ruining a good home bath towel coz of camping though it would give me an excuse to buy whole new sets. Oh well another day. Then we have to go to Service Canada for Ken's application process to be finalized for EI...yah it's gotten to that point. Toronto right now is kinda dry for jobs, hope the air clears a bit when school starts and students go back to it.
Saw my family and my parents in when we went to visit to Peterbourough last weekend soo happy. Tried to call Sarah but she never picked up =*(..maybe another time.
Anyhow I'll end it here for now..life's meh but anticipation waits for camping...omg 1 WEEK!!!
Gonna go wake Ken up get a move on. He can hate me now and love me later when our day is productive.

Bummer about the camera though... I've never broken one, but my computer has been... thank GOD for warranty, or the bills for my computer (when it broke three, yes t h r e e, times) would have been crazy.
And for EI, really? No more Hockey Hall of Fame for Ken...?

they sent my camera into the shop to see if it can get fixed..which is cool bu tthe suck..i reallllly wanted it for algonquin...
maybe AJ will let me barrow his for some pix haha. my whole idea of panoramics for the living room etc. will crumble...though im sure aj and some others will bring cameras and im sure someone will be nice and let me go rampant with it. haha. i hope! if not i'll bring a disposable and get the pictures blown up somehow...

yah, EI, he's been out of the HHOF since January...long story made short he kinda told the wrong american *ahem, pepsi sponsor* that he was an ignorant fuck after listening to the douchebag berrate Canada and Canadians and such for over an hour. that's short form of the story, ken can repeat whne you get back if you want.
then took 3 months to find a job, at cheese boutique, great people and close but though the people are wonderful not great to work for. great outside of work, but for 8.50/hour not worth having 7 etc. bosses yelling at you and blah bunch of ish...anyhow told him to quit coz it was stressing him out....said to find better..since it's been difficult...EI go go...it's cool though...he'll find something it's just slow right now..they even say it in th news. Stupid oil problems prob and some others i hope it gets better soon. it should eventually...patience patience..
Thank GOD seriously for my parents..is all i can say...that and i owe them my life and more..heh we do.
but yah...also xbox 360 got the ring of red death so that's being sent to microsoft, just a bad day for shit to break, bad timing and sucks can't get an exchange...oh well..maybe i'll luck out and they can't quite fix my camera and they give me a phat upgrade. hehe i have my fingers crossed.
a girl at my work bought a fujifilm camera from best buy for school for one of her graphic design courses, it broke or stopped working so well the colours were off, they didn't carry that camera anymore so they gave her a canon camera just below SLR grade...that would be so nice haha...my camera was worth 350-400$ approx. according to Ken so heh i hope they do fix it or get something just as nice. I saw they don't sell HP anymore so we'll see haha..
Anyhow I've written practically my lifestory for the day today so I'll end it here. Take care.
